Those Saudi Jewels

Such a delicious story of incompetence and corruption. Almost 20 years ago, a Thai worker stole a big load of jewels in Saudi Arabia. They consequently turn up in Bangkok. Then some Saudi diplomats get murdered, a Saudi businessman goes AWOL, and fake jewels are returned to Saudi Arabia. Almost all Thai workers were expelled from Saudi Arabia. The Nation and the Bangkok Post newspapers, write about this story in a very roundabout way. As in: “The case must be solved.” Yeahm sure. But no investigative reporting is ever done. Such murders and cover ups can only originate at very highest levels. Obviously the people who still have the jewels have no compunction to kill whoever gets in their way, and they get away with it. Who has the jewels? I think I have an idea.
