Gay In China
February 24th, 2008There’s an article in Wikipedia on homosexuality in China. I find the entry a bit strange here and there with sentences like: “the government is … doing nothing to promote the situation of homosexuality in China” and “The authorities still refuse to promote … gay issues”. Why do these things need to be “promoted”? You’re gay or you are not. It’s like asking lefthandedness to be promoted. Maybe something got lost in translation? Gay Asian life is confusing enough as it is.
